The Hobbit Project
An immersive classroom poster that brought The Hobbit to life with maps, visuals, and interactive details. Drawing from Tolkien’s artwork and film stills, we layered perspectives from book, film, and audiobook. The result gave my son engaging story aids and reflects my approach: layering perspectives to make content vivid and memorable.
Jellyfish Costume (Fasching 2024)
A last-minute handmade costume built from a clear umbrella, lights, and iridescent materials. Inspired by DIY jellyfish costumes but improvised on a budget, the result was a glowing, street-stopping jellyfish that lit up the night - showing how resourcefulness and imagination can turn everyday items into something magical.
The Tomten Project
A winter learning set built around The Tomten by Astrid Lindgren, pairing story read-alouds with crafts and nature walks. A handmade nature table, peg-doll Tomtens made from fabric scraps, and watercolor garland created atmosphere and texture. The project reflects my love of storytelling through environment - blending books, craft, and nature into one experience.
