Sidewalk Chalk: Exploration of Pattern, Repetition, and Scale

By layering hand-drawn concentric circles across the entire patio and wetting the chalk for richer color, I transformed a simple material into a large-format, immersive surface. The result is playful and temporary, yet it demonstrates how handmade patterns can become striking statements when expanded at scale. This kind of experimentation reflects my interest in translating analog play into spatial or environmental design

Botanical Studies: Fennel + Coriander

Created while studying Ayurveda, these botanical illustrations of fennel and coriander combined watercolor and ink. To deepen my understanding, I not only grew and cooked with these herbs, but illustrated them as well. This immersive approach helped me learn their forms and qualities through observation and creative practice.
